About 1 in 8 U.S. women (about 13%) will develop invasive breast cancer over the course of her lifetime. Kimberly, founder of Espalier, received a breast cancer diagnosis after discovering a breast lump. Kimberly elected to have a bi-lateral mastectomy and hormonal therapy and she is now in remission—thanks to early detection. Genetic testing revealed she had no predispositions to cancer and that the cancer was caused by environmental factors (see our list of forbidden ingredients). Today, Kimberly donates a percentage of Espalier profits to early detection and screening. Her passion for supporting other women initiated her Bare Collection dedicated to warriors in treatment.
