At Espalier, care extends beyond the final drop. Our recycling program offers a responsible next step for your empty beauty packaging—helping to keep hard-to-recycle materials out of landfill.

We partner with TerraCycle to ensure your empties are properly processed through a specialized recycling system designed for beauty packaging.

Bring Your Empties to the Studio

How it Works

Step 1 — Clean & Prepare

Rinse and empty your containers as thoroughly as possible. Items should be clean, dry, and free of remaining product.

Step 2 — Bring to the Studio

Collect your empties and bring them to the Espalier studio during open hours. We accept packaging from Espalier as well as other beauty brands.

Step 3 — We Recycle with Care

We collect and send all accepted materials to TerraCycle, where they are sorted and processed through specialized recycling systems.

What You Can Bring

We accept a wide range of empty beauty packaging, especially items that are not typically recyclable through curbside programs.

• Skincare bottles and jars
• Pumps, caps, and droppers
• Tubes and dispensers
• Body care and hair care packaging
• Mixed-material packaging (multi-layer or hard-to-recycle items)

What Not to Bring

To ensure proper processing through TerraCycle, please do not include the following items:

• Partially full containers
• Aerosol or pressurized cans
• Perfume bottles
• Nail polish or remover
• Wood or bamboo packaging
• Electronic beauty tools or components
